2010 SCORES COMING SOON
Ballin' 2010 is in West Willow and MacArthur Blvd. (the Green). After
6 years in West Willow we expanded to the MacArthur Blvd. area. Starting June 30th and for 8 weeks to follow we will be on
the Blvd. every Wednesday and in West Willow every Tuesday.
So you think you're a baller? Got handles or maybe a nice jumper? Think you've got what it takes to be named the
"Best In The West"? Join us every Wednesday at 4pm in West Willow Park.
Ballin' in the Willow (BITW) is a free, eight week, 3-on-3 basketball tournament that was created for the young
people of the West Willow community. Every summer West Willow Park is the battleground as we search for "The
Best In The West".
BITW was designed so that the individual, the team, the one time participant, or the full eight week
participant could take part and still benefit equally. All you need to do is show up on Wednesday with a team of three
and play until you lose twice. Each week is a tournament by itself, but in order to be the "Best In The West"
you have got to be willing to compete throughout the entire summer.
Every time you win you earn one point. The more wins you have the more points you earn. At the end of the summer
we take all of your points from the entire summer and add them up to see who comes out on top. You can
have a different team each week but choose wisely. Because in order to win you've got to have a good team but in order to
become the "Best In The West" you've got to be the person with the most points.

In the West Willow neighborhood, no sign says it's summer like the one Derrick Jackson puts in front of West Willow Park
on Tuesday mornings. The white sign, which reads: "Ballin' in the Willow tonight,'' attracts legions of players from
this basketball-crazy community for a weekly 3-on-3 tournament that gives every child in the neighborhood a chance for bragging
rights. Read more
